Automatic CPT rod screw

Make CPT operations faster and easier with the Automatic CPT Rod Screw. The operator simply inserts the new rod. An integrated sensor automatically engages the screw mechanism, securely fastening the CPT rod to the previous one. During extraction, the process is automatically reversed—no manual handling required.

MOSTAP Soil Samplers

For virtually undisturbed soil sampling, ideal for CPT validation. The MOSTAP sampler is pushed directly into the soil using the CPT system, ensuring high-quality samples with minimal disturbance.

• Available in lengths of 1.0 or 1.5 m and various diameters. Supplied with a nylon sock and closing caps.

CPT rods and casing tubes

A wide range of CPT rods and casing tubes is available in Ø25, Ø36 and Ø56 mm, with AR or 2R threads. Matching clamping blocks, dirt wipers, and pre-push cones are available for all diameters.

ST-Rods: the unfolding CPT string

The patented unfolding ST-Rods combine flexibility with strength. When untwisted, the ST-Rods behave like a pearl necklace and can be easily folded onto a reel. Once twisted, the rods lock together to form a solid CPT string with push, pull, and buckling performance equal to that of a string of standard AR rods.

• Thanks to the self-aligning bayonet thread mechanism, a single turn is sufficient to secure the connection.

Cone testing equipment

Check your cone’s performance quickly and accurately. The cone is placed in a compact test setup, ballasted only in the axial direction. The force on the cone is read from the test apparatus manometer and compared with the value on the data acquisition system—any deviation indicates the cone’s functionality. The device allows testing of the cone tip resistance and local friction sensors, with an optional check for the pore-water pressure sensor.

• Indispensable for quality control on site or in the workshop.

Clamping systems

• Basic configuration: Pushing piece combined with pulling and catching ball clamps.

• Advanced configuration: Hydraulic push/pull clamp with quick diameter change (Ø36 ↔ Ø56 mm) without replacing parts.

Vacuum device

Complete venting is essential for optimal pore water measurement. Our vacuum device fills the cone, including the filter, with silicone oil – quickly and easily, without any additional tools.

Anchors and anchoring device (HYGAND)

When the weight of the CPT system is insufficient to provide the necessary reaction force during Cone Penetration Tests, anchors can be used. The manually operated version is robust and simple, while the HYGAND makes anchor setting significantly faster and easier.

• Fast, secure anchoring across a wide range of conditions.

Adaptors or friction reducers

For reduction of the friction along the CPT rods during Cone Penetration Tests in order to reach a greater test depth, adaptor or friction reducers are often used. The adaptor connects the cone with the first CPT rod.  Available in various types en dimensions, including models with cams, rings or wear bushes.
