CPT'22: for the latest CPT developments

18-05-2022 The CPT’22 will take place from June 8 to 10, 2022, in Bologna, Italy. During the conference, the latest developments in the field of CPT and data acquisition applications will be presented. A.P. van den Berg will also be showcasing its latest innovations, such as hybrid and automatic probing. Both topics will be explained in more detail in presentations. Sustainability in CPT practice

At the beginning of 2021, BAM Infra Nederland put the world’s first hybrid Track-Truck into service. On the road, the Track-Truck is powered by a diesel engine. Once at the project site, the Track-Truck is powered electrically. Both CPT and driving on the tracks are carried out entirely electrically. During CPT’22, Mark Woollard (Managing Director) will give a presentation on June 9, 2022, about the first experiences with the hybrid Track-Truck.

The number of Track Trucks equipped with the unique COSON-ST by A.P. van den Berg is growing steadily. In the drilling cabin, the drilling supervisor’s workplace is transformed into an office environment. This is because the drilling string is rolled in and out fully automatically, allowing the drilling supervisor to focus on other (office) tasks.

Seismic tests for investigating elastic soil properties
