21-05-2010: CPT'10 very inspiring

Last Sunday, the 16th of May, Wim Hassing (Director Marketing & Sales A.P. van den Berg) set foot on Dutch ground again after some inspiring days in California (USA). He and Jim Brylawski from A.P. van den Berg Inc. joined from the 9th till the 11th of May the second international symposium on soil investigations using the in-stu test method: cone penetration testing (CPT). The goal of CPT'10 was to exchange ideas and practical experiences through presentations and discussions.

Through participation A.P. van den Berg especially wanted to gain new contacts and meet old friends after a long time. Besides that Wim and Jim wanted to inform the visitors about the newest equipment. They had especially equipped an informative display stand.

Their participation in CPT'10 was very successful. A.P. van den Berg has a good picture of the developments for in-stu soil testing with the CPT. Wim and Jim could talk extensively again with old friends. And last but not least: those in the forefront of the field of soil investigation are well informed about the latest technological developments of A.P. van den Berg. Attendees showed a lot of interest in the exhibit.

Now on to the "XIVth Danube-European Conference on Geotechnical Engineering" in Bratislava Slovakia from the 2nd till the 4th of June 2010.
