The lightweight, single-cylinder CPT unit with a stroke length of 700 mm, is suitable for mechanical as well as electrical Cone Penetration Tests up to a depth of about 30 metres (depending on the soil type and reaction force).
The HYSON 100 kN-LW is very versatile. It can work as a stand-alone unit, where 4 anchors provide the required reaction force. But it can also be mounted on a light CPT Truck or Mini CPT Crawler. These configurations enable the performance of Cone Penetration Tests at difficult to access locations, like gardens, houses, cellars or narrow alleys.
